AB InBev

Conversion of purified waste water

AB InBev and Azulatis have an interesting cooperation in the field of water treatment and purification. Both the breweries in Leuven and in Jupille each produce approximately 50 m³ of water per hour, which amounts to 400,000 m³ per year. They use ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis to convert purified waste water into process water of drinking water quality.
