Vacancy: Electromechanical Project Engineer

Tasks and responsibilities
- As a project engineer, you'll be responsible for leading customized water projects both domestically and internationally. Along with your sales team colleagues, you'll interact with clients, listening carefully to their needs. You'll work with a team of process technologists to find the right solutions and translate those needs into a concrete design. You'll be responsible for the complete electromechanical execution of the project and its implementation, including handover to the Azulatis operations team.
- Here you will contribute to the detailed engineering of our installations (both electrical and mechanical), drafting technical specifications, and appointing suitable contractors/suppliers for the realization of these process water and wastewater installations.
- As a project engineer, you manage contractors, suppliers or your own team of technicians and check whether they have carried out the assignments in accordance with the imposed standards and budgets.
Your profile
- You have a master's degree in industrial engineering with a specialization in electromechanics, or equivalent through experience.
- You have thorough knowledge of electricity, pneumatics, mechanics, hydraulics and mechanical engineering
- You have experience in preparing and reading P&IDs, electrical diagrams and construction plans.
- You have experience in the design and construction of electrical installations (both low and high voltage)
- As a project engineer, you are driven, hands-on and solution-oriented, proactively tackling potential problems.
- You have an eye for detail and, where necessary, make proposals for improvement
- You take the lead in consultation meetings and can give presentations
- You are customer -friendly and you inform the customer in case of questions
- An occasional foreign assignment doesn't scare you off
- You are willing to perform a guard service a number of times a year
